Environmental and climate changes have forced the earth into a new form. Natural disasters emerged on a regular basis and the tectonic plates started shifting incredibly fast, altering the earth’s form and destroying most civilisation in the process. Radiation levels spread on the surface of the Earth making it uninhabitable except by the Immunes. Most living beings were wiped out, except for a minuscule percentage of them that managed to develop a genetic mutation that could wistand the radiation levels.

2000 years later and the Earth is scorched and the remaining civilisations have grouped into tribes and factions with different values. Abandoned industrial environments are demonised and regarded as a mistake of the past. No one dares venture there as it is also ridden with heavily mutated creatures.
